Does toothpaste RESTORE Headlights?
To answer this question properly, we first need to understand the difference between "Cleaning" and "Restoring" , so lets look at the two definitions.
1. Cleaning: When we Clean something, the house, the car, or our teeth... the expectation is that we'll have to do it again right?
I mean... we don't brush our teeth once and expect to never do it again,
or vacuum the carpet and walk away for ever. No, we have to maintain it.
weekly, daily, whatever the schedule requires.
2. Restoring: Implies longevity. Because a restoration addresses the root problem, and fixes the issue/s that hold the item back from performing or presenting at its best.
For example, When the paint begins to peel and crack on a house it indicates the coating has aged, and passed its use by date. So, Do we simply paint over it and expect it to last another 10 years? Of course not... we need to remove or prep the old surface so it will take the new paint... Creating a lasting finish. That's Restoration.
Now let's relate this to your headlights.
Sure, you can CLEAN your headlights with toothpaste. But just like your teeth you will need to do it again, and again, and again... (Short term solution).
BUT
When we RESTORE your headlights, we address the root issue which is the now depleted factory UV coating.
This is a process which, when done professionally can produce amazing results that can last years, not weeks. (Long Term Solution)
