🔧 WE’RE BACK ON THE TOOLS TODAY 🔧

After a stint in hospital, we’re happy to say we’re back up and running again! 💪

A big thank you to everyone for your patience, support and understanding while Matt took a bit of time out (doctor’s and wife’s orders!) — it truly means a lot to us.

Also, a huge shoutout to those who jumped in and spent time on the tools to make sure our customers were looked after and vehicles were turned around on time while we were down — we really appreciate our people! 🙌

If you’ve been holding off on any servicing, repairs or work, now’s the time — Matt is back in the workshop from 7am today at Shop 5/38 Lark Street and ready to get stuck into it 🚗🔩

Fun fact - if you are working on an A/C in a 17 year old kenworth there is a 100% chance you will never be the one to butcher the HVAC system.

These units are proof that engineers hate mechanics, but someone in the past has kindly created access panels which makes it easier to put this blower motor in!

This week we have had ‘The Gambler’ in for some TLC.

🔋 new batteries and all new starter cables
🛞 2 new steer tyres
⚙️ 2 new Jake solenoids and Jake harness
💻 new wiring from ECM to speed sensor
🔌 wired up Inverter and connected to power points in the bunk
⛽️ repair to leaking fuel hoses
💨 found and replaced perished air line leaking under the cab

This big girl is ready to get cracking again! 😎

Santa come early for us this year. Big thanks to George and his crew for putting this together and getting us in the week before Chrissy.

As you can see things are getting bigger. We have a workshop! We are also trying to stock more parts, but what we don’t have most of the time can be sourced over night or within 2 days. We also have a hoist which makes servicing cars even easier 😎

We would like to thank all of you, our loyal customers, for your continued support and patience as we have been getting extremely busy and stretched trying to meet dead lines.

I would also like to personally thank my wife, Carissa, who without I would not be where I am today. Even though I have been the one out sweating and toiling non stop, she has been the one to keep this show together. You guys don’t get to see her in action but my word she does a lot for this business. So without her, and our 3 growing boys, I wouldn’t be doing what we are doing today.

And with all that said, we wish you all a Merry Christmas, a happy and prosperous new year, and hope you all enjoy the holidays with your nearest and dearest.
