WE'RE BUILDING THE TEAM — Be your own Boss

As MotoFOIL grows, so does the need for good people.

But we're not looking to build MotoFOIL around a large traditional workforce.

We're looking for independent contractors, specialist suppliers and business partners who can produce, supply, assemble, design, market and sell for us — paid by the job, by the piece, by results, or through agreed profit-sharing arrangements.

Our FAB Boys already handle a major part of our fabrication, including the chassis/space frames and suspension towers.

Now we're looking to build the specialist network around them.

WE NEED:

• Fibreglass & composite specialists
• 3D printing / additive manufacturing
• Auto/motorcycle electrical specialists
• Machinists / CNC work
• Engineering support
• CAD / product / industrial designers
• Painters & finishers
• Upholsterers
• Assembly & fitment contractors
• Procurement & supply-chain specialists
• Marketing & sales people
• Bookkeeper / accounts support
• General Manager / operations person

This isn't just about the TANAMI.

As we develop MotoFOIL, Citi-FOIL and Ag-FOIL, there will be components to manufacture, assemblies to produce, customers to find, products to sell and eventually much larger production requirements.

Some contractors may simply supply us with a finished component at an agreed price.

Others may assemble complete sections or finished MotoFOILs.

Others may become long-term production and business partners.

For the right people and the right roles, we're also open to performance and profit-sharing arrangements where everybody benefits from helping grow MotoFOIL.

We don't need everyone sitting under one roof.

We need good people doing what they're good at.

MotoFOIL brings those specialist skills together into the finished product.

MotoFOIL | WORKSHOP Long hard days yakka at MotoFOIL today, Ally busted her arse getting the wiring sorted out as the Indian wiring wasn't helpful, she worked right until after dark but succeeded mostly.

Khoi came and welded up a batch of X-Bar extenders, I am redoing the rear X-Bar on Merv Kroll's LS650, I just wasn't happy with an angle it had.

Khoi and I sussed out the chassis mods we will do for the seat, we will do in future builds, the seat has changed its dimensions so we need to make all TANAMI's an extra 50mm wider.

Today I got a few calls from overseas sidecar merchants who are interested in selling them so I'm very happy about that.

Wiring day, doing the Can Bus takes a lot of time to splice in to the trailer system.

I can't do much today as Ally has the whole rig to work on so Im doing Merv Krolls TANAMI. Im re doing a few things to his rig that I did to SSB.

Its amazing how you learn better ways of doing things all the time, both of these rigs are still pre production versions so they change quite a bit in the process

I've always harbored a desire to have a chopper, but it had to be 4 cylinder and handle and stop, so I've been playing in ai to design one, it needs a suspension rear end and slightly longer forks, working on it.. I chose the Bandit Suzuki 1250 as the motor is very clean looking

These will all be welded together and be 100mm X-Bar Extenders.

Very simple things, we will make 50mm 75mm 100mm 125mm. If you want to widen the track, simply undo the Heim Joint at the Swing Trapeze and wind in an Extender. They are the same high tensile steel we use for all X-Bar fittings, have long threads.

Over the years we have run them many times for 1000s of kilometres with them, simple solutions to get track width how you want it.

Calamity bit me, its been forever since ive had to worry about getting burnt by exhaust pipes, a rude wake up call to be mindful of low pipes!

Luckily it was on top of an old burn off a KLX chook chaser about 40 years ago.. lol, so no freckles were lost.. lol
