We designed and fabricated a custom winch cradle and tow point (non-rated) to suit the rear of the truck’s chassis, giving them the setup they needed without compromising the vehicle’s intended use.

The owner of this truck needed extra-high sides for their tray, but with nothing available off the shelf to suit their requirements, we got to work.

We fabricated a set of custom extra-high aluminium drop sides, complete with heavy-duty corner posts and robust latches to handle the demands of everyday work.

Designed around the truck, built to the customer’s requirements and finished ready to get to work. 💪

We were called out to site to take care of a leaking hydraulic cylinder on this Komatsu PC45.

After inspecting the cylinder, we found the seals had become old and perished, causing the hydraulic leak.

We removed the cylinder on site, stripped it down, replaced the seals and reinstalled it on the machine — back in service and working as good as new. 💪

No need to lose valuable time getting your machinery to the workshop.

Want it done on site? No worries — we can come to you! 🔧🚐

This Case SR220 was due for a major service, and rather than spending time and money transporting it to the workshop, we took the workshop to the machine.

We headed out to site and carried out the full service and inspection, getting everything checked over and ready for another stint of hard work.

Service complete, the SR220 was straight back to work doing what it does best. 💪

This 2011 Harley-Davidson Blackline came into Vertex for a routine service.

While it was with us, we noticed an issue with the starting system. After some investigation, we tracked the problem down to the starter motor.

We removed the starter, stripped it down, rebuilt and replaced what was needed before getting it back where it belongs.

Now it’s cranking over like new and ready to ride! 💪

🚨🔧 Need your gear ready to go on site? We can sort that out for you! 🔧🚨

This side-by-side is heading out for exploration work, but before it could hit site, it needed a few upgrades to get it ready for the job.

We fitted a beacon, emergency stops, light bars, site flag and UHF, along with carrying out a full mechanical inspection and a range of other modifications to get it site-ready. 💪

We also teamed up with Cruzn Trimming to have custom doors made and fitted to help meet the site requirements. 🤝

Good weather for ducks… not so much working on trucks. 🦆🌧️🚛
This International rolled in needing urgent attention, and the rain definitely wasn’t taking the day off.
We got stuck into it and knocked over a solid list:
✔️ Replaced a blown airbag
✔️ Remounted a brake booster
✔️ Realigned and re-secured the rear diff
✔️ Welded up cracks
✔️ Remanufactured suspension wear pads
It wasn’t dry.
It wasn’t glamorous.
But it was done properly 💪
We got soaked — but more importantly, we got it sorted and back on the road where it belongs.
Rain, hail or shine, if it needs fixing, Vertex gets it done.
