Polaris Ranger 900 in for a service.

Initial dropped off for a general service, and quickly turned into a little more.

Whilst caring out service items, we opened the air box to find dirt on the wrong side of the air filter, a further inspection found the throttle body and intake manifold to be filthy, we removed and clean both, all this prompted us to check intake ports on the head and measure the valve clearances. Luckily, the dirt hadn’t made it too far and a minor clean of the intake ports was all that was required.

KTM 525 EXC in for major repairs

This old KTM 525 was bought to us with a no start issue after hearing a bang while riding. After a bit of digging we discovered that the cam chain had snapped. After further disassembly we discovered a few issues cause by the chain snapping, from bent valves down to the lower timing gearing being chewed up. All were replaced, as well as some new oil pump gears for some piece of mind as there was a small amount of alloy that had been sent through the motor from the cam chain letting go

We also fitted up a long range tank and fitted a rear tyre that were supplied by the customer

KLX250 in for repairs

This KLX was bought to us with concerns about how the bike was shifting into certain gears after a crash. After a bit of searching we found the issue to be the gear shift return spring locating bolt, being loose and bent, we replaced the return spring bolt, as well as some new oil and coolant, the bike shifts good as new.

Whilst looking for the issue we noticed that the chain and sprockets were heavily worn, and replaced them while it was here.

CRF250F in for repairs.

This CRF250F was dropped off to us with concerns about a knocking sound coming from the engine. Upon inspection we found a lack of oil, causing oil starvation to the piston and cylinder. We carried out a top end rebuild with all genuine parts, as well as a new cylinder.
The customer also supplied a full UHF setup for us to fit while it was in.

KLX250S in for repairs.

This KLX250S came in with no power to any of the instruments and no response from any of the controls. We found a blown fuse which was the result of some damaged wiring. While it was in we noticed that the fork seals were leaking and went ahead and replaced them while we had it up on the bench.
