I’m not going to sit back and watch a completely different version of events be presented publicly without responding.
You say you were left with nowhere to go and that nobody helped you. My experience was very different.
You stayed at my property for more than eight weeks without paying the agreed rent. You paid $350 in total, while being provided with accommodation, food, water and somewhere for your five horses to stay.
The condition of the horses also became a serious concern. The RSPCA was contacted when they arrived, one horse was found dead, and another was found seriously lame and suffering. After you left, the responsibility of dealing with the consequences was left with me and my housemate. We spent three days dealing with the dead horses, while I had to protect my three-year-old son from being exposed to what was happening.
You also left the van in an unacceptable condition, including dog hair throughout, an overflowing toilet cassette and general filth, despite the agreed cleaning bond.
So when you publicly talk about who was and wasn’t there for you, remember that there are people who know what actually happened while you were staying here.
I’m not interested in arguing with you or trading insults. I’m simply putting my side of the story on the record.
You were given somewhere to stay. You were fed. You had access to water. Your horses were accommodated. You were given considerable time to sort yourself out.
At some point, adults have to take responsibility for their own circumstances, including paying what they owe and dealing with the responsibilities they leave behind.
The total amount currently outstanding is $2,675.
That’s not an opinion, an insult or a Facebook argument. It’s money that remains owing and needs to be paid.
