RACE DAY 2 🏁

What a day… we made it to the end of the Queensland Rally Championship Imbil Rally.

During the first stage of the day, we had a little ‘off’. With the help of Ethan, we managed to get the car back on the road quickly, and complete the rally.

We’re all just glad we’re okay, and the car managed to make it out with minimal damage (as shown in slide #3).

Despite the chaos, we were tracking really well for day 1, where we placed 3rd in class and 7th outright. After the crash on day 2 we placed 29th outright, with our penalty of 30mins after making it to the next stage late.

Now the real challenge… to get the car sorted before our next trip to Victoria in two weeks for Marysville Stages. 171 competitive km.

RACE DAY 1 ⚙️

So far today, we’ve faced some issues with the car, and lost our diffs.
But, we continue onwards and upwards with our results still proving steady!

First Rally Stage Of Snowy River 🏎️💨

Special Stage 1 was an untimed shakedown. This was a great way for us to get back into the swing of tarmac as we’ve done so many gravel events in between!

Our Most Slippery Rally Yet...
Ada River Rally seriously kept us on our toes.. The mud left no grip and there was a lot more sideways action (some we admit unintentionally 😅)
All in all, a great learning experience for us in these conditions, and promising results.
This weekend, we're road-tripping to QLD foir the Imbil Rally. Another gravel, this time maybe with a little more grip 😂

Leaking Brakes Aren't A Good Sign...
We did manage to find that they were just a little loose and tightened the inner and outer, with no more brake fluid leakage. It did give us a bit of a fright!
