Just because you can push so much power through a vehicle doesn't mean you should, had it confirmed yesterday by 3 more people that have been in this industry for alot longer than most, that indeed the tune put through my car previously was really dangerous and we are lucky the car didn't blow up, nothing was set properly, no parameters, nothing dialed in, no saftey measures nothing, we are just lucky we spoke to haltech staright after the last tune, got them to remote log in through our laptop and wind the timing down plus fix a few things that were already wrong with it because we knew it wasn't right...
so no we haven't been flogging it since that person tuned it, we've barely taken the car out, in saying that we have gone for a few drives but carefully and mainly to park up at some cool meets and see some awesome rides.
Im not saying the car was in perfect condition when I took it to this previous tuner, thing is I can admit that!!
It was a brand new build not everything goes to plan straight away, I had 1 fuel leak that I fixed on the dyno and a coolant temp sensor that had failed and was overridden on the tuning software otherwise was all good to be tuned.
Was advised to get a rotary switch and map sensor at a later date which I have since done.
P.s if a car has no oil pressure most likely won't start LOL
Now that it's got a beautiful SAFE tune in the car we are doing a few more upgrades so we can get the power we want without destroying the motor!! Currently not quite where we want it but give it a few weeks and hopefully we will be pushing some good power π
Honestly just happy our car is safe!!!!
Take it from the people who actually care about the motors they tune and not just about the power they can push through it and the money they make, people that have actually been in the Industry for a long time.
Take it from people who have a good reputation!
DO π YOUR π RESEARCH π
