Europe is barely halfway through the year and has already burned through twice its
annual average.

1,200 fires against an average of 569. In Spain alone, 1,530 km2 gone, larger than
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. 330,000 people out of their homes, the equivalent of
emptying Geelong and Bendigo.

Our season starts when theirs ends.

Every country replacing its fleet is drawing on the same production lines, the same
lead times, the same supply chains. When everyone orders at once, it is one queue.
