These chilly winter mornings create some ideal photo opportunities if you are willing to face the elements. These were images taken this morning showing some misty and frosty conditions in a paddock to the rear of our home.
The kangaroos don't seem too concerned about the -2C temperature 😀

It was great to see this trio of Tawny Frogmouths the morning after a Tornado ripped through our community on Christmas night 2023. With so much destruction around it was inspiring to see that this little family had survived.

Just a little video I recorded last year capturing the awesome sounds of the V12 Merlin when fitted to a P-51 Mustang aircraft. I could listen to this all day 😃🛩️

The Great Eastern Fly In is held at Evans Head, Northern New South Wales, each January and is a great event highlighting a great variety of aircraft and community activities. Evans Head has a strong historical link to Aviation with it being an RAAF base during WW2. Please enjoy a few images of some of the fantastic aircraft that attended the 2016 event including P51 Mustang, T28 Trojan, Yak 3, Nanchang CJ-6, Waco YMF Biplane, Winjeels and more!
