Linfox was delighted to host Senator Glenn Sterle to experience ‘a day in the life’ of a Linfox truck driver.

Senator Sterle, a licenced truck driver, assisted Linfox driver Helen Coleman to complete store deliveries in Melbourne’s west for our customer Woolworths. He also toured the Woolworth's Melbourne Fresh distribution centre with Linfox CEO Mark Mazurek and President Retail Simon Livingstone.

Senator Sterle and the Linfox team discussed road safety, attracting female talent, jobs and skills planning, and his work in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Ilsa in WA.

Today we join colleagues across the transport and logistics industry by celebrating R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds day. This collaboration between R U OK?Day and Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds aims to ensure people in the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries know when and how to ask ‘R U OK?’ to their peers. From BBQs to morning and afternoon teas, teams across Linfox and BevChain sites have created space to learn how to drive conversations and meaningfully connect with others.
