We have the pleasure of carrying out an engine bay and underbody restoration on this otherwise mint immaculately preserved 🇦🇺 STI!

It did come to us with coil-overs and a sports exhaust as well as an EndRust treatment from back in ‘99, and whilst it was a reasonably big job to strip and paint the undercarriage and wheelhouses it seems the coating has had a good preservation effect!

Last night our beloved 15 month long, concourse level OEM-plus 6.5 TME restoration left us, an extremely proud DEFY Performance achievement, with all aspects carried out in house, aside from those deep mechanical tasks trusted to none other then S & J Automotive 🏁

We enjoyed a fantastic four days of sprint racing in the DEFY Performance 911’s at the Winton Motor Raceway Festival of Speed.
The Bosch Motorsport Australia GT3RSR performed flawlessly as usual, here’s 3 of my favourite laps, not our fastest over the weekend, but as team mates Todd Carruthers and I loved competing closely 🏁

The trusty DEFY Performance spray booth has become a Grp A assembly haven during this Adelaide weather 🥶 - the Brock M3 is coming along very nicely, back onto the TME next week to complete the final details of the restoration!

This gorgeous low km “survivor status” S204 is in for a deep clean and underbody mechanical rejuvenation - sourced by Mark Hocking Special Vehicles for a long time S & J Automotive client, this immaculate example just needs some solid detailing to further preserve its 20 year age!

660 hours into the extensive restoration of this incredible 1987-1996 Australian Touring Car Championship M3🏁 It’s truly worth every minute given its preserved overall condition and heritage. The ATTC driver line up incudes Jim Richards, Tony Longhurst, Peter Brock, Neil Crompton, David Parsons and my all time favourite privateer duo, Peter Doulman and John Cotter! This car won Australia’s first ever 2.0L Touring Car Championship in 1993 in the hands of Peter!!!
Currently completed is JPS black interior and underbody, and shortly the BMW Alpine White will be applied with the 05 Mobil 1 livery🏁
