What started as a saildrive job turned into a fair bit more 🔧

This catamaran came in to have both saildrives replaced, so we pulled both engines out to clean everything up before reinstalling. Standard stuff… until we had a proper look.

One of the engines had internal damage that just wasn’t worth chancing - so it got replaced with a brand new one. The other got de-rusted, cleaned up and repainted, and both went back in running sweet.

Two happy engine bays, and the owner’s back out on the water💪

Some major repairs on this Bali 40 🔧⛵️

One of the twin Nanni N4.40s was removed after finding a rusted sump, leaking engine rear main seal and a leaking saildrive input shaft seal.

The sump, rear main seal and saildrive input shaft seal were all replaced, taking care of a few issues before they had the chance to become much bigger ones.

Big shoutout to Trans Marine for taking care of the crane lifts — fantastic job as usual 👌

Had an unexpected customer wander into the Ocean Mate workshop today… 🐨😂

Walked straight over to check out the Nanni Diesel range, made his choice, then headed on his way.

Safe to say, he knows a good marine diesel when he sees one. 👌

We even made sure our newest Nanni customer got home safely. 😂🐨

This chaparral came in needing more than just a service..It needed a new heart 💔
So that’s what we did.

Full repower carried out swapping the tired old 5.7L Volvo with a new 6.2L 350HP Mercruiser setup with all new transom shield and sterndrive package. These jobs aren’t just a straight swap - they require correct alignment, fuel systems and rigging systems, otherwise they won’t last.
