We are now all but ready to send the 32 Ford off to the painter. Now to get on with getting Phyllis off to the painter as well...

Phyllis is quietly waiting on the painters queue for her turn to go into primer so I decided I would play with this 1/3 scale 32 Ford Roadster. Aquired a mobility scooter for the driveline, made a custom chassis and tubbed it... It will end up being for my grandsons and No. 1 grandson has stated he wants Bumblebee from transformers so yellow with black scollops is the current paint choice. We shall see if that scheme survives as the paint gets closer....

Got the wipers installed and decided I should relocate the fuse panel to a more accessable location.... Plan A had the fuse panel in behind the dash on the firewall but you needed to be a contorsionist to get at it, Plan (×) has it pointing straight down beside the steering column and easy to get at....

Bit more progress - RH door jamb is now done with the patch completed around the catch and cable management to allow power window and central locking cables.... LH catch patch panel has been made and cable management preparation is done.

Hopefully going into primer in the next few weeks

Been caught up doing other things and poor old Phyllis has been pushed aside but we are back into it for a little bit at...

Been caught up doing other things and poor old Phyllis has been pushed aside but we are back into it for a little bit at least.... The body shell is very close to going into primer so I need to get the power windows, central locking (including the actual locking mechanisms) external and internal door handles etc finished...

So the last couple of days have seen the four power window motors mounted and tested for basic clearance...
