AK's driver's drive through the Sunshine Coast hinterland took us to some great spots and on some great roads, but the donut cabinet was definitely a favourite!

The team at Highfields Motel made us all feel very welcome, followed by a terrific meal in Lily's Restaraunt.

Hi guys. I have been commissioned to sell a family friends 280ZX. Currently looking for a rough value on a one owner 280ZX, 130,000km car is in overall very good condition has been sitting for 17years in a garage. Has some small bubbles on the driver's side guard and (very superficial) and some bubbles on the targa tops. Car looks to have been well rustproofed. The I'm in the process of removing the fuel tank and cleaning out, Cleaned out lots of varnish and the stale fuel smelt woeful, no rust in tank though. fuel pump runs with 12volts supplied. Also will replace fuel filter, fuel hoses, spark plugs. possibly attack removing the injectors to have cleaned and flow tested before I try to bring it back to life. Still has original spare wheel and cover, T top covers, Genuine Nissan air compressor, I will post some more pictures up in the coming days so as to get a better idea on value. Any opinions on any other things to look at before trying to revive her would be appreciated.

Great Excitement - Online Car Show starts 23 March !!!

From the frozen north to the sizzlin south… the Ontario Z-Car Owners Association in Canada and the Z Car Club of Queensland in Australia are co-hosting an online car show for their members and entry is open March 23rd to April 5th, 2021.
FotoZed is open to all current members of OZC or ZCCQ with any make & model of Datsun/Nissan. There are 6 judged categories that you can enter, and an overall people’s choice award. The prizes are simply bragging rights. The benefit is enjoyment of so many amazing photographs! Our top winners will be featured on our website, social media and in our quarterly publication of Zedline.
Entry opens March 23rd

– If you are a current OZC or ZCCQ member, you will receive a link to the entry form via club email
– With the entry link you’ll be able to submit 1 entry for each category (for every Datsun/Nissan car you own)

This time last week some of our members were at Mt Panorama supporting Challenge Bathurst as flag marshalls/ scrutineers or even competing in the Regularity event. Always an epic experience on the mountain. The supersprints were doing 2:05 and 2:06 min laps so a cracking pace. Some fast cars also cracking the 2:36 min limit in the Regularity on Sat and Sun. Perfect weather for the whole 4 days. Looking forward to getting lots of Zs there again for 2021.

Urgently chasing a pair of R30 or 280ZX rear drive flanges that fit on the trailing arm stub axles. They are 25 spline with the 3 x 2 bolt configuration to suit CV joint drive shafts.

Z31 300ZX does not fit FYI.

Anybody know someone capable and willing to restore my 240z? This is planned to be a slow project whilst I am overseas for the next couple of years. Any advice appreciated. Also let me know of you know of anywhere that can just store a car for the next couple of years. That too is an option. Thanks.

My son and I started work on this little project a while ago. She is a 1980 280ZX 2+2. We have started at the front and are working our way back. The car lives near Mossman FNQ, my son lives in Brisbane and I live three hours drive away from Mossman. It may take quite a while to get her fully restored :) I'll be doing most of the work in the short term so I thought I might introduce myself here. No doubt I will have plenty of questions in the future. Oh, and so far the rust is not too bad at all. Plenty around the pillars but we haven't got the windscreen out yet to have a proper inspection.

Good afternoon, I’m not a regular on this fb page but looking for some Z car advice. For some years I have been tossing up as to whether to buy a Z car. I would appreciate some pricing guidelines on the various models. 240Z, 260Z and 2+2 variant. I don’t have the space to perform a restoration but would be looking for a good car that is drivable but may need a tidy up here and there. Your advice appreciated. Many thanks Ian.
