SOLD | 1972 De Tomaso Pantera 🇮🇹🇺🇸

Oldtimer Australia is delighted to announce the sale of this beautiful, low-mileage and incredibly original 1972 De Tomaso Pantera.

An early chrome-bumper example, this Pantera had travelled just 9,000 miles before being parked in a Wisconsin 'barn' in 1979, where it remained for more than 30 years. Discovered in remarkable original condition, it was subsequently sympathetically restored while carefully preserving its originality.

Today, it presents with its original colours, interior, Campagnolo wheels, matching-numbers 351ci Ford V8 and original toolkit. With just 17,199 miles showing, this was a particularly special example.

The car was also awarded ‘Best Car on Display’ at the 2018 Winton Festival of Speed.

A wonderful example of De Tomaso's famous combination of Italian design and American V8 power.

Congratulations to the new owner — we wish you many years of enjoyable motoring with this very special Pantera! 🏁
