THE FINAL SEND-OFF — VL GOD 💨🔥

One last time down the strip.

After years of making history, breaking records and becoming one of the most recognisable VLs in Australian drag racing, VL GOD has officially made its final run.

This wasn’t just another pass. It was the closing chapter for a car that has left a massive mark on the scene and given fans countless memories over the years.

No comeback. No next event. This was the last send-off.

What a way to finish it at Brisbane Jamboree 2026. 🏁

Respect to Anthony Maatouk, the family and everyone involved with VL GOD throughout it’s journey.

A legend retired. The memories stay. 👑

Some people leave behind more than memories—they leave behind the feeling you got every time you saw them.

Trent was one of those people.

Since meeting him in 2019, every time we’d cross paths I’d get a big hug, a smile, and we’d pick up right where we left off. He was respectful, genuine, and always had time for the people around him. He welcomed my partner and my family with the same kindness he showed everyone.

We worked together, helped each other whenever we could, and shared a love for cars that created so many good memories.

I still can’t believe you’re gone.

Rest easy, brother. Thank you for every laugh, every conversation, every hug, and every memory.
