2019 Toyota Landcruiser ABS fault.

This vehicle presented with a LHR wheel speed sensor fault. This vehicle already had the wheel speed sensor replaced and the rear wiring loom for the both rear speed sensors. 95% of the time it is one of those parts that fail. This time i got asked to get involed and within 15 mins we found a direction we could go towards. While monitoring my oscilloscope i found the LHR wheel speed sensor would get an interrupted signal every rotation. So technically it was reading correct but it had a "noise" in the circuit which was enough to trigger the fault. After my recommendation to inspect the rear wheel tone wheel we found evidence of our findings and confirmed the fault

2012 Mazda BT-50 with a constant 'bang' into second gear on the upshift and downshift.

After confirming the solenoid data was programmed correctly into the tcm and there were no codes in this vehicle related to the issue. I confirmed we were getting correct line pressure internally of the transmission but certain passages were having an external leak off. This loss of pressure was the cause for the harsh 2nd gear shift.

Brand new genuine valve body with new solenoids and leadframe, carried out the programming sequence for the new solenoids and this 4x4 is ready to go again.

We were asked to look at a BA falcon for no start. Vehicle was towed in and was told it requires a fuel pump. Generally we have seen faults with the pcm, ignition switch and fuel pump as the most common cause. So fast forward 15 years of working on fords this is the first time I have officially seen a ckp (crank angle sensor) fail on a barra. First picture is what it should look like, second is the sensor failing which means the engine computer does not know when to inject fuel or fire a spark plug. Fix it right the first time with correct diagnostics is the only way we can assure customers that it is a one time repair

Just in time before the holidays start. Mazda 3 in for erratic shifts and the cluster looking like a Christmas tree. A common code scan was not much help as there was no communication to the transmission computer. After some thorough testing, we found there was no communication inside the transmission computer so new tcm was required. 3 month wait through mazda!!! few phone calls later and managed to have the original tcm repaired while also having the hardware and software updated to the latest level for nearlly half the cost of a replacement just in time for xmas. Merry Christmas everyone and have a safe new year.

Ford Territory in recently for some serious knocking issues when taking off from a stand still. Further inspection found the front diff bushes were no longer holding together and also the centre support bearing for the rear tail shaft had let go. These certain model fords have an unserviceable uni-joint which most workshops believe they cant be pulled apart and replace the centre bearing, in which they replace the complete tail shaft assembly. But with the correct tooling and knowledge we were able to repair this tail shaft and also able to replace the front diff bushes while keeping the complete front suspension assembly in the vehicle.
