Holden RG Colorado in for a full timing belt kit ( Belt, Seals, Tensioner, Water pump ) plus a new drive belt plus tensioner which had totally died !
All quality Dayco parts used

Been a while since I posted, still here and busy.
Bit of a project we just did, timing chains on a BMW X5. Big job, gearbox out, raise the engine and remove the sump to get to them as they are on the back of the engine. All done :)

Ford Ranger , the immobilizer was playing up which is located on the back of the fuel pump as its a diesel engine. So did a bit of homework, if you get creative you can smash apart the circuit board and get to the wire to the shut off solenoid. Then run ignition power to it and no more issues .
Customer was told the fuel pump had to come out to do it which is a big job, saved him alot of money :)

Nissan Navara ST-X 2008 6 speed manual – comes with RWC and registered until 20/03/24

Good tidy 4x4 , everything works and it drives well ! It has been used off road and has a few minor dents and scratches but as you can see from the pics nothing bad.

• Mechanically great condition – recently replaced air flow meter, Alternator pulley plus surge control valve, all known issues. Has an upgraded hi flow front mount intercooler, upgraded intercooler piping and a 3” mandrel bent exhaust
• Has had a quality Machter twin row timing chain conversion not long ago – pic attached. Never buy an YD25 Navara if this hasn`t been done !
• 2” Lift kit with Sachs shocks recently done
• Interior is tidy, bit of wear on drivers seat
• JVC upgraded blue tooth Head Unit with hands free mobile compatibility
• Flush mount Tonneau Cover only a few months old – quality unit that fits beautifully around the factory sports bar
• New windscreen fitted for RWC

Good old Falcon centre bearing on the tailshaft , I think we might replace this one ! LolEdit - After pic added :)

And this is why you don`t put grease on input shaft splines , especially this much ! Just pulled a clutch out of a Range...

And this is why you don`t put grease on input shaft splines , especially this much ! Just pulled a clutch out of a Ranger 4WD , and this is what I find . The grease runs up to the friction surface and the clutch starts slipping - if this was fitted properly it would have had a much longer life and the owner wouldn`t be paying out over 2k for a new one !
Exedy Clutch going in after I clean it all up ...................... nothing but the best :)

The forgotten Auto Transmission fluid ...................... customer just bought this Toyota 150 series Prado with 230k on it , very clean car with service history . Except they obviously hadn`t changed the auto oil ! We drained the transmission and changed the filter , then added new oil - ran it to flush it , drained it again and added more oil .
The pics show the colour of the original oil - yes it should be red . So after running 8L of oil through it we got a red tinge to the oil , really needs to be done again but we ran out of oil but its much better !

Simple maintenance otherwise you will be up for a new transmission and who wants to pay for that !
BTW the power steer oil was the same , obviously never changed either .

Prado 150 series in for a service , pulled the undertray and look at the rust ! Its a really clean car so obviously Toyota don`t put much paint on them , cleaned off the rust scale and gave it a coat of satin black :)
