Last piece of the puzzle to be installed on Tony’s 54 C600 COE chassis was the tailshaft assembly.

New bracketry and mounts made and installed, chassis is all done. Onto the body next! 🥳

Detour from the workshop for an excursion on Saturday. Driving up to save a couple of VW oval bugs stuck on a sheep station in the middle of nowhere near Broken Hill.

Used for fun around the farm two generations earlier, they’ve sat in their dry climate for 30+ years. These are 1956 Australian delivered examples with one still featuring the complete Australian dealer optioned side trims.

They’re banged up and bruised but still retaining their original tags with matching body/pans/engines. The dry environment kept the bodies and pans themselves in solid shape thankfully.

I think a built Baja Bug Prerunner may be on the cards in the future!

69 Mustang Mach 1 assembled back together, all fluids in and components installed. It’s off to torsion/beam testing next week before we fire her up.

Some of the last pieces installed included these overflow / catch can / reservoir bottles. We designed them in Solidworks, had them 3D printed in stainless/aluminium, we welded them together, blended them, tapped all the treads and gave them the appropriate patina treatment to match the rest of the car…

New Paint + Crisp Bodywork = $$$$$$$$$$

The 56 F100 chassis we’ve been building for is back rolling on all fours for the first time since work began on the project. Latest stages of work included fabricating mounts and installing the new Coyote and 10R80 gearbox, fabricating a full stainless steel exhaust system, alloy fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, front sway bar, and exhaust cutouts…

Ante’s XY Falcon getting a new IFS conversion using one of our DIY front end kits…

The OE front end and strut towers got removed/deleted, rails got cleaned up and straightened, one of our DIY IFS assemblies installed, new column installed, brake/clutch masters installed along with new sheetmetal inner skirts panels made to tie back to the factory look…

We do these front ends as a DIY kit for several vehicles including XR-XY Falcon, 64-70 Mustang, A/B Body Mopar, 55-59 Chev Trucks, 53-56 F100 etc. DM us with any enquiries, information or questions…

The wheels for the 69 Mustang Fastback project were an involved process…

The clients brief was to combine two vintage racing wheels he liked elements of (pic2/3) into one set of wheels for the project. The 5 lug bolt pattern but with 6 spokes combined with a centre lock spindle aesthetic…

We designed the wheel assembly in Solidworks, then had them made by one of our wheel manufacturers to comply with VIA/JWL/DOT standards for street use in Australia. We had them made in a raw machined finished, then heavily blasted them before being painted in 2k satin black. We designed the centre lock components and had them CNC machined to match.

We didn’t want a shiny set of wheels on an original patina vehicle. So we gave them the ageing/wear treatment and blended them to match the rest of the cars exterior and look as though they were as old as the day it left the factory…

Graham’s 56 F100 interior is pretty much wrapped up. Dantrim Automotive Upholstery Bendigo getting this one done.

A two tone combination of distressed brown Italian leathers combined with Alcantara accents throughout. It has a nice modern ranch truck feel with all the modern amenities.

We also designed the 3d printed centre console which incorporates the entertainment units, shifter surround, push button start and power window controls along with some central storage…

gauges along with a 3d printed lower dash cluster we designed finish off the instrument panel and house all the controls and gear indicator display…
