After being MIA on this page for some time now I return with the new and improved JB Portable Power Unit that I feel the change in enclosure, addition of an Enerdrive 40+ DC-DC charger to handle charge input from your vehicle and built in MPPT solar controller have made this system more practical, portable and the biggest improvement… Scalability

Both of the units pictured below house a 100ah lithium deep cycle battery capable of 100amps continuous output and 250amp peak surge output.
Both configurations can work as stand alone systems if you have specific output requirements.
Linking both units together couldn’t be easier with a simple Anderson plug jumper lead you can share the battery capacity and charge both units on solar or automatically when your connected vehicle is running.

While I have designed these units to perfectly compliment each other the only limit to customisation and output requirements is your imagination.
Custom builds can be planned out with me to create your ideal and perfect suited power unit, whether it be for camping, trades, off grid living or anywhere power is not available.

The long awaited portable power unit is finally here!!!
Boasting some pretty impressive hardware inside a very compact case, this is just one variation of infinite possible systems that can be created to suit your desires.
Using the Milwaukee Packout modular storage system the expandability in battery capacity and accessories are endless.
Different uses for this unit include but are not limited to are camping, construction, generator replacements, gel blaster events to charge the batteries and extra lighting.

While the specifications inside this unit are pretty high for the size and weight, systems like these can be adapted to any housing or vehicle.

For all that missed the first post on this project here is a summary of the specs for this particular box but can be customised and adapted to any enclosure or vehicle.

WE ARE GONNA NEED A BIGGER SHED!!!!

Part one of this motorhome fit out is complete with a pretty beefy system
1120ah of AGM batteries
1440W of solar panels running to a 100amp capable solar regulator
40amp DC-DC from the 24v start batteries down to the 12V house bank
3000w Victron inverter 120amp charger combi

Has been an amazing job to work on with a blank canvas from the start, I can’t wait to get it back to the workshop for the finishing touches!

Another fun project just in time for a lucky son’s Christmas present!
This little beauty was brought to us completely bare with the owner having a list of jobs he wanted done
VHF, stereo, fish finder, water snake, LED nav lights, complete floor boards and panels, new seats and more!
No other shop would take this guy seriously with the amount of work he wanted to put into this gift.
Never a problem in the Junior Blue workshop!

Had the privilege of working on this monster of a caravan last week!
Installed a new 300ah 24v lithium system with a battery management board and a morning star 60amp solar regulator to control the 900W of positionable solar on the roof.
The van is fitted with a 7kw inverter and a 30amp AC charger.
Quite happy with the layout of this system fitted underneath one of the beds completely automated and out of sight!

Now it’s starting to look like something!
Slowly finishing off the last few touches on the mobile power supply with not too much to do now.

Specs for this build are as follows and will be making them to order following your needs and desires!

- 200ah Lithium Ion battery
- 1000W Epower inverter
- 2x weatherproof outlets
- 1x weatherproof socket for built in 20amp charger
- 2x 50amp Anderson plug outlets
- 1x solar input Anderson plug
- 4x USB outlets including 2x fast charging
- Built in 30amp solar regulator

The goal for this project is not only targeted towards camping for all their off grid power needs for lighting, phone and torch charging.
I am also looking at tradesman such as electricians and builders that are working on sites with limited/no power to charge their power tools, phones and extra lighting needed to get the job done.

Yet another slow project on the go in the Junior Blue workshop is this 1980 Suzuki A100.
This little smoker was saved from the corner of a shed buried under a mountain of crap!
Big plans for this little bike when the time is right and can’t wait to do some more work to it!
This already small bike will be a hell of a lot smaller when I’m done with it 😉

Stay tuned for progress on my most recent project!
I will be fitting out one of these roller boxes with 200ah of lithium batteries and a 1000w inverter.
I will also be adding a range of accessories including USB fast charging ports, Anderson plug input for solar blanket charging capabilities and outputs for vehicle jump start leads.
Comment below of any other options that you think would be handy to have on a system like this and where you think you would find use for it.
