Crew Wanted!
This boat is on the rally

My partner and I are on the rally and sailed (with crew) from Southport to noumea, Fiji and then to New Zealand for the summer months and back to Fiji for this season.

We have a lovely beneteau 57 and you would get your own cabin and head.

We will provide all food and pay your airfare to get to Fiji.

We will be looking to head to New Caledonia late September/early Oct - subject to the right weather window.

CrewSeeker - Crew Wanted
It is a paid job (salary to be discussed according to experience and market )

Will be a full-time job for eventually the rest of our trip until 2029 ( Indonesia, Japan, Alaska , Pacific Coast of America, Patagonia and back to France)

Full accommodation ( private cabin and bathroom ) on board and of course, food provided

We can discuss 1 or 2 flights a year back to NZ for total holiday of around 1 month, but that can be discussed if flexibility of timing (we like to be the two alone sometimes and are happy that the crew leave the boat sometimes also )

We are a couple of 70 years old with lot of sailing experience, multi atlantic round trip, one full circumnavigation France to France.

A top of the class 75 ft monohull

Job description is:

First mate / deck hand

Cleaning and maintenance of the boat (high standard)
Able to deal with basic repair of things which can happen on the boat, but owner /skipper have a great knowledge of the boat ( 7 years experience of maintaining the boat without professional crew)
We leave the boat twice a year for around 6 weeks to fly to France, leaving the boat in a marina.
Living aboard and keeping the boat during this period
Supervising and dealing with contractors
Not compulsory to speak French, but if you speak a bit , it is a plus.
