House Tinting: black or mirror window tint on your house can stop up to 86% of the total heat coming through the glass. Some glass requires certain types of tint to be applied or you may risk cracking the glass, however most glass is tempered so you have a range of films that can be applied. Darkest legal and matching privacy glass are both very common options for window tinting.

One of our regulars brought in their XC60 for a strip and tint after the original tint applied by the dealership broke down within 8 years. So at the customers request we threw on some Avery Dennison UCP window tint thats just a little darker than what they previously had on the car.

Today brought a challenge that we were keen to take on... Tinting this classic Holden. With aftermarket grey glass on the sides and clear on the back, we had to match up tints on the glass to get a nice all round even colour for the customer.

Ideally this job should be a glass out situation but that adds a lot of cost for the customer and time that we need to have the car so the customer chose to get it done with the glass in.

❌️ We found a website that listed no legal limit to the rear glass on cars in SA.
❌️ We had two people try to tell us that IRR ratings on window film is the overall heat rejection.
