Finished a build today that I started nearly 18 months ago. Work commitments and building slumps have held up progress.
This is AMT's 64 Belvedere, for something different, I didn't use the 426, instead opting for the slant 6. I modified a front bench seat into a split bench, added a column shift behind the "Leaning Tower of Power". Colour is Dupli-Color Champagne Glow Metallic.

Finished the Italeri M8 Greyhound, first time using powdered weathering pigments. Really happy with the build, a very nice kit for its age, no issues at all.

Apologies for not posting recently. Work has been getting in the way, I'm frequently travelling interstate as our customers are nationwide. Hoping to finish up a few of the WIPs hanging around the bench soon. Cheers 🍻

Resumed work on the Moebius F-Truck I started last year. Colour is SMS Signal Red, decals and clear coat to follow.

Stepping out of my comfort zone on this one. I mostly build shiny things with Pearl paint and blown motors 😁
So I've started a new project a few weeks ago which will be a WW2 diorama based on the Red Army around 1945. I've a number of kits in the stash which may play a part. Not sure of the size, although I do have the 1/35 scale Soviet armoured train and some wagons. We'll see! 😁
First build is Airfix's T-34, which has been nice to build.
A lot of firsts on this project.
First time pre shading, first time post shading and first time successfully using photo etch! 🤣
Firstly SMS Surfacer Black and Premium White. Base coat of PL84 Protective 4BO, then successive mottled coats of 4BO with a little more PL162 Trainer Yellow added each time.

Here's a build I finished a couple of months ago, but haven't posted in an album. It's AMT's re-popped '67 Impala SS. It's a really nice kit to build with no issues. Painted in SMS Auto Sunburst Yellow, and 2K Clear.

Stepping out of my comfort zone here.
The start of a diorama in 1/35 scale. It'll be set late in WW2, having a Soviet railroad theme. Starting with a flatbed, I haven't any Soviet armour from my stash built yet, so my mighty little M3 Stuart is the understudy for now. Man these things are fiddly! 🤣
