Summer sure goes fast! 🌞
As many of our summer staff head back to school, it's time for our Gas Dock to switch to our Back-to-School Hours beginning Friday, August 7.
Please see our updated hours below. Thank you for another great summer! We truly appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you out on the lake as we wrap up the season. 🚤☀️

Dry Dock Marine Center is looking for 1 or 2 college students to join our team now and come back next season as well!

We're hoping to find someone who's looking for more than just a summer job, we'd love to have you come back year after year while you're in college.

What you'll be doing:
-Greeting and helping customers
-Answering phones and directing calls to the proper department
-Assisting customers with accessories and completing purchases
-Receiving and stocking inventory
-Helping with ordering merchandise
-Keeping the store looking great

Being part of a fun, hardworking team!

Schedule:
May–September
Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sundays & Mondays Off!

We're looking for someone who is:
✔ Friendly and outgoing
✔ Organized and dependable
✔ Comfortable talking with customers
✔ Willing to learn
✔ Looking for a summer job they can come back to every year
If you enjoy working with people, love the lake atmosphere, and want to spend your summers with a great team, we'd love to meet you!

We currently have 2 short-term dock slips available for Memorial Weekend at the old Bledsoe’s Beach location in the channel on Lake James.

Thursday – Monday - $550
✔️ Located in the channel
✔️ Easy access to Lake James, Jimmerson Lake, Snow Lake & Otter
✔️ Limited availability
✔️ First-come, first-served

Payment is due upon signing the contract to secure the slip.
All contracts and payments are handled electronically for quick and easy booking.

Dry Dock Marine Center is looking for a Part-Time Accessory Sales Associate at our store for the 2026 boating season.

Perfect for someone who enjoys boating, lake life, and working with people.

April – October, �25–40 hours per week�
Potential to become full-time
Responsibilities include:�
• Helping customers find boating accessories and gear�
• Answering phones and assisting customers�
• Cashier / POS transactions�
• Receiving and stocking merchandise�
• Helping keep the showroom organized

What we’re looking for:�
Friendly and dependable�
Comfortable using computers�
Strong customer service skills�
Boating knowledge is a plus (but not required)
