Job Title: Coating Technician (Sand Blasting / Priming / Powder Coating)

Job Summary
The Coating Technician is responsible for operating sand blasting, priming (liquid coating), and powder coating application stations, in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. The role ensures that all surface preparation and coating processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with company SOPs, QMS, and HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities
•Operate sand blasting, priming, and coating stations (powder and liquid coating).
• Perform surface preparation, priming, and coating activities in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct visual inspections to confirm that parts are suitable for coating prior to application.
• Perform required qualification checks and quality control inspections using approved measuring and inspection gauges to ensure compliance with SOP and quality standards.
• Monitor the coating process and immediately report any abnormalities, defects, or deviations to the Coating Plant Supervisor or designated representative.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including Daily Production Reports, QA/QC Inspection Reports, Operational logs and process documentation
• Ensure strict compliance with the company’s Health, Safety, Environment Management System (HSEMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Production Manager/ or designated representative.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in sand blasting, priming, powder coating, or similar industrial coating environment.
• Technical Diploma or relevant vocational qualification (aviation-grade background is an advantage).
• Training certificates related to coating processes and equipment operation are preferred.
• Strong understanding of coating procedures, surface preparation, and quality inspection practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines.
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• UAE driving license is an advantage
• Must be willing to relocate to Dubai
